Titanium backup pro

Newbie here, and not sure where to post this. I have an old Droid Razr 4.1.2, rooted, with Titanium pro, but with the stock o/s. When we were fiddling around with the phone after first rooting it, we uninstalled a couple of rather 'needed' apps. Like contacts. Like 'phone'. Etc. Fortunately, these were in the Titanium backup, and we could re-install them and use the phone. However, every time we re-boot the phone, the apps uninstall again, and we have to go to Titanium to reinstall them. Is there a fix for this? We've been trying to get a response from Titanium for weeks on this issue, as well as searching on the internet, but can't find any solution. Thanks for any help you can give.
