Why do I get an error message when I try to install an app on my phone?

Keep getting this message: error retrieving information from server [RPC:S-7:AEC-0 when I try to install an app on m phone.

Welcome to Android Central! Does this happen on both wi-fi and mobile data? Try going to Settings>Apps>All, select Google Play Store, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Do the same for Download Manager. Now try again.

If that doesn't work, make sure you have a valid form of payment in your Google Play Store account. Another thing you could try is to go to Settings>Accounts-Google>[your Google Account], remove your Google account completely, then add it back.
