Halo lockscreen question

I'm pretty new with customizing android devices so I figured I'd Google a guide. Stumbled across the halo lock screen and figured I'd give it a go. Everything is working except the custom slider theme color. At 3:40 of the video he goes over it (I would post screen shots of it but having trouble with that also, maybe need more posts). Anyway I have all the themes and fonts linked in this video downloaded onto my phone and put into the theme folder as shown in the video and widget locker installed. I select the base_ics2 slider, everything is fine but when I deselect "tablet style handle" the slider doesn't change color to blue, it stays white. It's as if it's not recognizing the .png image files in the folder. Anyone have any ideas?

Im running a brand new Samsung galaxy s6 btw.

Maybe it's a bug? Have you tried maybe uninstalling and reinstalling. Sometimes that help I'm not too familiar with Halo Locker. I did poke around on google, maybe you can contact the developer and report the bug. Sorry, not much help.
