I'm still trying to find a rooting method for my phone though. Is it OK if I use another phone's rom? How do you go about all this anyway? I tried like, 3 sites that claim to generate your phone's unlock code when u type in the imei. They all gave me the same imei, but when I tried it, it wouldn't unlock. PLEASE HELP, I WANNA GET OF CRICKET AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

Buy an unlock code from eBay. Just follow their instructions and you should get the code within a few hours at most the next day. I have mine working on Metro PCS with LTE. Download speeds for me have tripled
