How can I get the & on the menu for my password?

No & on menu for password.

Trying to connect to internet. But password has a & in but none on screen keypad.

That's strange. Which phone do you have? Have you already tried clicking on the "123" key? A new set of symbols should appear with the "&" included (most likely top left). If it doesn't you could download a third party keyboard from the Play Store.
