SAFE-est method to ROOT android using LinuxOperating system on pc(Kali)

Trying to figure out how to root my android(Alcatel OneTouch Fierce), the safest way possible(not sure how secure towelroot is, and kingo doesn't work with just the app), and figure I will need to use the computer to assist, does anyone know of Linux friendly Android rooting methods?
