Can't obtain IP address on phone to Netgear wireless router. . .
My grandmother bought a router. It's more on the low end of routers (like around $40). I didn't think she'd need anything fancy because it was just used to connect a few phones for casual Internet use.
Well at first my Android phone connected. Now, it just searches for the IP Address but doesn't connect. No error or anything. It just says that the Network is saved but not connected.
I've had the same result with my tablet, an iPhone, and two other Android phones. The only thing it seems to consistently connect to is my MacBook and my grandmother's iMac.
Sometimes it randomly connects to my phone, but most of the time not.
If it makes any difference, my phone is a Motorola Droid Turbo and runs on Lollipop 5.1.
