I have a Note 2 that I've owned since new and Just had a major Battery failure issue. I ended up completely wiping the device and it's like New and I replaced the battery and it works fine now.
Except.
It wants me to activate it but I don't need or want to activate this phone. I have been using it for the last year or so now as a PDA and media controller for things like streaming YouTube, Amazon, etc, and for doing things around the house like Podcast player and jotting down notes in the garage. I still use it a lot but I don't need it as a hone. I have a Note5 for that.
My problem is that I now have this overlay screen on there that I cannot figure how to remove. It stays on there all the time and doesn't go away. It disappears when I change screens but then pops back up again.
Is there some way for me to skip the activation process and keep the phone functional? Basically, I just want to turn it into a PDA. This is a Sprint L900 phone if it helps.
Thanks
