Migrate to Google Calendar and contacts

Hi,

I have been and outlook user for many years. I have just acquired an HTC inspire.

It looks like the easiest way to sync PC and Droid phone calendar and Contact list is by migrating my calendar and contacts to Google.

Any pro's and con's to this approach.

Depends on your needs/wants. As with anything out there it's not one-size-fits-all. What, specifically, are your concerns? Are you willing to give up Outlook or would you prefer to keep it? Do you already have a Google account and no qualms about storing your data with Google?

I used Outlook since it was first available and last year I did a sync to my phone, let my phone sync with gmail and deleted Outlook from my PC...cold turkey. Best decision ever and no issues at all. I'm so happy to be able to access my data from any PC, anywhere.
