For instance, when I am logged into my gmail account, I can also go to the play store, etc. I have been using google keep more but to get to the app on the desktop browser I have to hit more apps, and then hit even more apps. Is there a way to actually rearrange the apps so that the most used ones appear when I first click the apps in the upper right portion of my screen?

Nevermind. I think I found it. With the exact app I want open a create shortcut button appeared. I assume this is the correct way?

Only took me a few years to figure this out with their apps :)

Are you talking about any Google site on your desktop browser? I.e., when you click on the App Drawer-type button at the upper right next to your avatar?

Arranging apps on your main screen:

Press and hold the desired app.. the screen will fade slightly and a grid will appear.. still holding the desired app you can drag to a location on your main screen. Granted you are limited to 12 app slots on your main screen. If there is an app on the main screen you do not wish for it to be there.. using the same method, tap/hold the app and slide to the top of the page to remove or delete.

However, you can use the tap/drag to place apps within a folder or group apps together by tab/sliding an app over to another app which you want to group.
