    Hello..

Even though I've turned off notifications for my Gmail app I still get them if I have synchronization turned on. I don't want those notifications 🤔

    Why is it so?

Welcome to Android Central! There are a few different places where notifications can be adjusted -- can you tell us exactly where you turned yours off? A screenshot can be helpful in this case: http://forums.androidcentral.com/gen...d-central.html

    Thank you.

Turned off in the phone settings.

And in the Gmail app settings it says that they are turned off by the phone and is not showing.

Have you ever accessed Gmail in Chrome? If so, you might have given Chrome permission to send you notifications as well. Open Chrome, tap Menu>Settings>Notifications, scroll down to the Sites section, and see if Gmail.com is checked there.
