..I'm looking for a smallish Android phone with a screen size around 3".. I'm going to mount it in my car as an OBD reader, using the 'Torque' app which you can use to monitor boost, intake air temp, etc.. Looking for something cheap.. Found some ZTE 'Warps' on Ebay in the 40.00 range.. Just wanted to find something a little smaller with at least Gingerbread..

Any suggestions would be great..

Thanks

A fixed/mounted smartphone in your car is an invitation to break in and create 10 times more damage than just losing the phone would cost you. Don't!

Thanks for the concern, but it's gonna be relatively out of sight- so much that if someone's going to look that hard for something of value, they;ll break in anyway...

Found a ZTE Concord on Ebay for 20.00.. Should do the trick.

It's just my 2 cents.
I lost 2 TomToms that way, and almost 2 thousand bucks in damage.
Wouldn't want you to befall the same fate.

Just to mention the type of phone the OP describes will be severely underpowered. I'm not sure it would run anything reliably.
