To be honest, macs controls the entire music and movie industry. If you dont own a mac, you're not working in the music or movie industry. My son's a composer in Los Angeles and when he was at the Berklee college of music, all entering students were told to get macs or they wouldnt be able to use their computers. One stubborn dad refused because of the price. So his son was nowhere at all in school. Ended up buying the mac.

I like to think they use that platform because it's much more simpler to use. Considering how busy they are thumbing around android probably isn't something they want to spend their day doing. Just my two cents.

I don't think the iPhone is a status symbol anymore, at least in the US.

I don't think that's true, with the younger folk I overwhelmingly see iPhones and many of the kids in our circle of family/friends have said it's because everyone else has one. The peer thing with teens is pretty strong.

iPhones are the popular and lixury thing right now. It becomes a fashion symbol.

Agreed, part of it is that they work (for the most part), simplistic, great marketing, status. I'll bet status is at the top.

Not sure if it's because I'm around a more diverse set of people but the folks I interact with have as much love and affinity for Galaxy as they do iPhone. iPhone as the status symbol in 2016 is silly.

I will pointed out few reasons, why Celebs prefer the iPhone Vs. Samsung
1) Most Celebs-Movie Stars-Singers,.etc. Prefer iPhone 'cause is made USA

2) Better customer attention. When I've visited Samsung Site is always down
3) On regards to the price is only a few$$ difference, between iPhn-Samgs

4) Propaganda play a roll. Users get influenced by quick Sold-out of iPhones

5) Latest Note7 exploding Recall. Create negative reactions to Samsung
and I could cited more reasons, why the preferences for iPhones-SeeYa!
