Love mine! I also figured out a way to watch movies that I have on my PC. If you upload them to your Google drive, you can cast your chrome browser to the chromecast and watch your movies.

How long does a movie upload take? Been waiting a while for one I moved on the PC, to show in the Drive app.

Unless you have internet with a really fast upload speed it takes a long time. I usually do mine at night before I go to sleep and it's done in several hours.
Thanks. I'll try again.
Checked this morning's movie transfer after 6 hours, & it was there

It's an amazingly inexpensive gadget that's easy to set up and allows you to watch YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, and HBOGo on your TV, so I'd say it's a steal at $35!
Lol, I think you just made a pretty good case for Chromecast. It would sound great if my ps3, xbox 360, smart TV, wifi blu ray player, Roku, and apple TV didn't already allow me to do that.
Now if they came out with this before those things were available then it would have made a lot more sense.
i suppose it does make sense for someone that doesn't have all those things. thing is, i'm not sure people realize how far superior a roku is, and an older model can be had for nearly the same $$$. i guess i am a roku fanboy, but at least i do have a chromecast to base my comparison. and it is that comparison that MADE me a roku fanboy.
i do admit that screen mirroring will be cool. i bet that roku eventually gets screen mirroring as well.
