So I'm debating whether or not to purchase the Nexus 5. I heard it has support for Bluetooth MAP now, so was wondering if it now reads texts through bluetooth in the car now? Such as Ford Sync? I currently have a Nexus 4 and it doesn't have this feature and I do kind of like the features and price of the Nexus 5!

    Thanks!

It can if you set up text to speech in accessibility settings. I think.
Currently my Bluetooth only says who the message is from. I did not do the rest of the setup.

You can set up a Tasker profile to do this on the Nexus 4. The Nexus 5 should work too.
