All of these were taken on hardware that is worse than the Nexus 5.

This is on an HTC Rezound (I still have one)

Awesome! I love cell phone photography especially with the countless apps for east post production. Don't get me wrong I LOVE shooting with Canon DSLR, but sometimes about great cell shoot puts a smile on my face ..

I don't care what the DSLR snobs say. Smartphone cameras are way underrated. I would not use it for wedding photos or professional publishing or whatever, but you can get awesome shots with them.

The HTC Rezound had the best camera of it's generation IMO. And like the Nexus phones, it had awesome Macro capabilities.

Who said you couldn't? The "get a dslr" club is no larger than the "I want dslr quality on my phone" club. Both are more vocal than the reasonable middle when it comes to forums.

I agree with that, my wife would get mad when she would ask for a photo of her and my son and I would pull out my Galaxy... "Where's the Canon" would be the response. Guess what, after she seen some of the pics I no longer get that response lol. Don't get me wrong a cell isn't going to replace the DSLR, but they aren't as bad as some folks think!

A few of my favorites from my SG3

Wow, that is a pretty incredible picture. Now if Google can update the camera to focus and take pictures faster, it will be nearly perfect for a smartphone camera.

Posted from the awesome new Nexus 7

Thanks...

Its not overly terrible, but any update would be welcomed.
N5 w/ Camera360 with little over exaggerated coloring. Not sure your style. I tend to like more pure not overly rendered photos, like the one u commented on. Sometimes it's fun to mess around though as you can see in some of the others I posted .
