Through simple text... How do you make it a folder to open other apps.? Would appreciate the help I'm new.

You can change folder icons if you're using a third-party launcher like Nova.

I kind of got what I wanted to work now. But originally I was going to have the folders take up the bottom row. Hence the 2x1 icon I wanted.

Do your "Games" and "Social" icons open up a folder or go to one application? If so, how do you do that? trying to figure that out.

I'm trying to make it a text icon.

Create an icon using Simple Text:

If you're using a third party launcher like Nova, long pressing on an icon will open an options menu which includes replacing the icon with an image of your choice. Just choose the icon you created using Simple Text.

I use Apex and those are the options I get. The icon pack only opens themed such as the glasklart theme I use. Took a screen shot to show.

Try select picture? The icons Simple Text creates are actually pictures.
