Sending Emails to Group Contacts??

Has anyone found a way to send an email to groups in the contact app?
I'm able to do this on my Samsung tablet because of Touch Wiz.
I've been trying to find an app, but haven't been able to find one.
I use an app called Contact GroupU on my Android phone, but it's not compatible on the Nexus.

Hi,

I was having the same Frustrations and contacted Google Nexus 7 Support...and they weren't much help...

The problem is the "People" App that holds all your contacts, there is a groups feature that doesn't work....Not sure if it was released with bugs?

I found workaround and sent the following email to Google Support:

Here is the work around.....GroupEmail App.....

Pity who ever did the work on the People App only did half a job

You may want to pass this onto App Developers at Google to improve the People App

Hopefully it gets fixed, Android is a Great OS......
But things like this...only feed the iOS Fanboys

This only fixes part of the problem. It does allow you to open this app and originate an email to a group, but it does not integrate with
email. Unfortunately, you can not read an email and then forward it to a group of people. That is a common workflow item for me. Samsung
has corrected this in Touchwiz but it needs to be part of the Nexus experience.
