Either way, try a hard reset on it.
To clear all data and restore the factory default values:
Power off and power it back on.
Use something with a small point, such as a pen, to press the Reset button in and hold it in for at least 5 seconds.
Continue holding the Reset Button until the LEDs blink twice.
Release the Reset Button.
But for less money I would have gone with the more common and better known Cisco - Linksys E2000.
