I also got this a few days ago. Verizon Pixel 2. ".016" Couldn't tell ya what's different.

Got it last night on my pixel 2, verizon. And I am now back to my phone not seeing my fitbit. Had this issue last fall with my old samsung which took samsung over a month to fix. BLE was the issue. This is very annoying. I'm not seeing anyone else with this issue yet.

Streaming audio over Bluetooth consumes much less battery since I got the new update. Lately (i.e., over the last week on .013), streaming music or podcasts using various apps consumed ~2mAh per minute according to the battery stats of my apps and now I'm under 1mAh per minute.

There's not enough info to say for certain this was the result of the update. Given the timeframe of my recent drop in battery efficiency, maybe that Google Play Services update that was supposed to address a WiFi bug dorked something up on my phone and the .016 un-dorked it up. Who knows?
