If you don't like it can you go back to Android 10?

Yes, they list ways to downgrade from 11 beta to Android 10. I believe 9 to 5 Google and Android police have the directions listed there.

Yes, unfortunately that's exactly what happens. That's why most people don't roll back to the older version of Android. They don't want to risk it.

Actually, according to this article, an option has arrived where no wipe to go back is required.

EDIT: apparently I didn't read far enough. I looks like it does still wipe your data.

Ah, gotcha gotcha I was wondering what that Android flashing tool was all about. Lol. I was reading about it on 9 to 5 Google and Android police today as well!

Pretty stable version of beta except for Google play not working. I feel the UI is more fluid and very responsive. This is nice, but I think all these updates can be feature drop as I used to get really excited for newer versions of Android earlier. Not anymore... πŸ˜”

Yeah, I completely agree with you. Everything is super responsive and flew in and I love that so far!

I will seek a bit of clarification: Is it Google PAY or PLAY that does not work? Thanks.

Installed the update. When listing recent apps, option to share is removed. It was handy, without it, it's just one additional step.

Okay, just flashed beta 2 on my Pixel 3 XL. So far, the transitions between messenger chat bubbles is smoother. I just hope bubbles overall are more reliable and more stable for messenger in this build. We shall see what else is much more stable and improved!

oh, yeah what the heck? That was a really handy feature. I mean if I didn't want to crop / edit a screenshot, I can just automatically share a screenshot with someone else... I barely ever use a select a text feature.

I also miss being able to access the app drawer from within other apps! I found that to be very handy ... swiping up while in an app, or anywhere really, to get to all your apps was a big reason why I always stuck with the stock launcher.

I mean I can sort of understand what you're talking about, however, it's not too big of a deal to me. I like the bigger app look within the overview multitasking mode.

At least you can roll back, but it seems like that comes with a pretty hefty price tag of having to factory reset. I've never done betas before - I just wait for the OS update.

Yeah, I was just about to say that. Rolling back to a stable previous version of the operating system, comes at a very hefty price!

I admit I don't use multitasking mode as often as I should... guess I will have to get accustomed to going that route moving forward.

I mean I'm guessing a few of you guys here don't use multitasking / overview mode here on your pixels! It's quick for switching between apps of course. That's the point of it. Talking between camera, photos, any app you need to. I also love using split screen mode for running two apps simultaneously at once!
