Any way to find build date or batch information for Pixel 3 ?

I have a couple of Pixel3 clearly white 64gb handsets, both have the same issue with poorly calibrated orientation sensors and i want to know if they are from the same 'batch' or it's a wider issue. They are from the same vendor but delivered 40days apart.

Does anyone know how to work this out from the serial number, i read some posts where this was possible with the Pixel2 ?

I do believe that you can find it by the Serial Number. Go to Settings-System-About Phone-Model & Hardware. The first digit will be the year. Undoubtedly 8, for 2018. The next will be the month. 1-9 for Jan to Sep, A-C for Oct to Dec.

Mine is 8B... Produced in Nov 2018.

For my Pixel 2 XL (manufactured by LG) I had to use an LG website to look up the IMEI and that showed the build date.

Thanks, both of mine are 8A so based on that it's Oct18, the next two characters i assume are the manufacturing facility which is interesting as the two devices i have differ (DX and 2X) which means the issue i have isn't a specific manufacturing batch.

That is interesting. Mine is 89 which would be September. I guess that makes sense as I ordered the very first minute on launch day.
