Anyone else missing Call Screen feature

I noticed Call Screening option wasn't available when calls would come in and noticed it's no longer in the settings of my Phone app. I'm using the public beta version of the Phone app. It used to say Spam and Call Screen now it's just CallerID and Spam.

But when I receive phone calls I no longer have the option to screen the call. Mine did work the other day tho.

Are you connected to WiFi? I think you need to be for it to work. Also if you are on the beta, they may have removed it. I'm on the stable ver and I still have it

I'm on Google Fi and for me I get prompt for screen call when calls come in.

Yeah I was on WiFi. I removed myself from the beta and uninstalled it. Now I have it back in my settings. I only joined the beta to get dark mode but now that we have it I don't really have a reason to be in the beta.

You don't need to be on wifi to use the screen calling feature.

It works fine for me irrespective of connected to WiFi or not. Call screening option automatically pops up when I get a phone call. Love to call screen all the spam calls

That's weird mine tells me I need to be on WiFi for it to work.

Really? Let me test again today evening. I remember getting the call at work and I don't believe I was on WiFi. I'll test it out again today evening.

I just checked Google support doc for call screening and doesn't say you have to be on WiFi. Anyway I'll check again later.

I was going to screenshot it, however it doesn't say it anymore. Earlier I was just on LTE, and it was saying I needed WiFi to call screen. Ehh idk...weird

Just tested and no WiFi is needed. See screenshot and I'm on cellular only and got the screen call option.

Sorry I meant in options. It was a weird message at the top of call screen saying I needed WiFi. I'm not on it now, and it doesn't say it. IDK. I do enjoy the feature. It's fun playing with spam calls.

Yea that's what mine said. It doesn't say it anymore though. Even when not on WiFi, or with it turned off.
