How do you remove the Voice Action widget?

Same here I just don't want it there.

You can disable it in apps. "google search" is what you disable and it will disappear. Keep in mind though; the top space of the screen where it is doesn't seem to be mapped so I wasn't able to put anything different there. Either the search box is there, or nothing is there from what I can figure out.

Hopefully cyanogenmod will resolve this issue and also add an optional seach virtual button to call up Google Search .
