    I'm not sure if you can, but you can change the resolution to 720p.

    Yep.



    Recently tried it for a whole charging cycle by accident and it's pretty nice for adding additional SOT.

    Yep, it is. You can have other modes and not do that. It's optional.

    That's nice. Samsung allows you to change the resolution on the note 7 too but it is part of power savings. There is some customization available but power savings would disable some things that can't be re enabled independently
