My temp remedy for slippery, pics

So I'm waiting on my Skinomi full body kit and my case. This phone was so slippery to hold that I feared dropping it. I cut some material I had for wrapping things. 3m material. Then I cut to fit a temp screen protector all while I wait on my official products to arrive. This made a world of difference. I hated to cover up the back side but now I can grip it so much better with one hand.

Very clever indeed! I have noticed the phone is slippery for sure, reminds me a lot of the Nexus 4 when I used to use that one The darn thing would always slide off surfaces onto the floor. Thankfully the Honor 8 hasn't taken a tumble yet

As you point out though, great solution here for those concerned about a solid grip! Skins/cases always a good route to go.

Very good tempered glass screen protector

Hey all,

This just came in from Amazon. Comes in a two pack. J&D is the product name and Amazon is the source. Gives full coverage basically and very little in way of lines that show that don't actually mold to the slight curvature of the Honor 8's screen. Im still waiting on UPS for my case but wanted to post a this so the ones looking for a good tempered glass would know which to order. I took a shot in the dark with this company but I've had their phone cases before which were of good quality. Definitely one I would say to get if you're on the hunt. If there is a better one, someone please let me know. This seems to be perfect but I'm always open to better.

The halos are very distracting to me,but it is a problem with many 2.5d screens

Yeah I know what you mean. Is there a better tempered glass out there? Its not too bad on this one or is very minimal but no doubt there on the sides.

It looks like the tempered glass screen protector goes to the edge of the screen so...not really sure what options you have if you want to cover all the screen

Clever. It is so hard to find something that doesn't compromise grip and protection and also lets that glass shine through.

Yes . although the pictures aren't clear...but it definitely looks like halos. Perhaps the op could post a close up

New slim and low profile case just delivered

This case is perfect. Gives no bulk to the phone at all. The shade of Red is perfect and now my honor 8 is full blown spiderman theme! Anyways the case totally protects all for corners but leaves a little top and bottom exposed taking away extra bulk. This case is a hard shell and it snaps into place. I think it comes in 4 colors on Amazon. The box says frosted shield and appears to originate from Japan. The Honor now has grip and no more slippery feel. Absolutely love this case against the blue color Honor. Here are a few pics to those who might have interest in picking up this case

Coming up. Sorry. I had to take a conference call for work. I just got this. Actually the top and bottom have full absorption but are just shy of flushing out to the very top and very bottom. The sides give perfect coverage but just ever so slight non full absorption. Pics to follow.

Here are some close ups. It's a pretty good fit. Similar to say an iPhone fit. Almost fully absorbed to the phone now. At first it wasn't but it's set in now

On my iPhone 7 Plus, there is no halos.it looks like there is still a slight halo in the honor 8 based on your pictures . not bad though
