If someone does`t know what I`m talking about, read this article (just ignore the title, it has nothing to do with battery life benchmarks) : https://www.scirra.com/blog/ashley/32/htc-10-cheats-battery-life-benchmarks

In short, HTC 10 drops its screen framerate to 50 fps after 2-3 seconds if you do not touch the display.

If you keep your finger on the screen, it maxes out at 57-58 fps, which is odd for a 60hz LCD display, it should be 60 fps.

Of course, this situation differs depending on the panel. I have the Tianma panel, but there is also the Sharp panel, and only some of them max out at 60 fps (more info here : https://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-10/how-to/poll-panel-htc-10-main-s820-variant-t3370972/page46).

I don`t understand why they make phones this price class with different screens and why they would sacrifice quality like this, and why most of HTC 10 devices are 57 or 58Hz, weird.

Anyway, what do you guys think about all of this ?

Doesnt matter, 57-60 Hz wont make a difference and you wint be able to tell, as long as it never dips below 40, as 40 and up is smooth
