Is this a safe way of rooting my EVO 3D?

Hi,
I'm new to this rooting business...
I seen these instructions that look fairly easy to follow but I want someone to tell me if they are safe or not.
Rooting method

I would like to be able to completely restore my phone to factory out-of-the-box state incase anything goes wrong but I found a forum to do that on this site:
Return to stock version

Is this method of returning to the stock version compatible with this method of rooting?

Nothing is 100% when flashing your phone . But yes as long as you know what your doing and follow instructions you'll be fine. I suggest that you Read Read Read and then Read some more. If you dont understand then ask before you do something you might regret
