Was in my local Sprint store today picking up my replacement Evo, and taking a shot in the dark, asked the rep if he knew when the 3D was coming out. He sort of looked around to see if anyone was near him and gave me a very confident sounding "middle of June." Just throwing that out there.

1. Thats just rude and uncalled for 2. Nexus 4G is a great phone 3. The Evo 3d will probably have lots of bugs at launch just like any new phone thats introduced to the market. Especially ones with new technology, in this case 3D screen.

Ridiculous, it's just a silly phone, and not a good one at that. If you ask me, op needs to get over himself. He waited all this time, I'm sure a few more weeks won't hurt you.

Of all the things to vent about at a rep who may not know anything about the release date, this has got to be the most ridiculous I've ever seen. if you had a legit concern and were trying to be reasonable, I'd agree. But this makes you look childish and impatient.

I thought it was funny. And I DO work in customer service, have for a LONG time. When I was in the Air Force I was in charge of shipping people's stuff to them when they changed stations. You want irate, get the General's wife on the phone when she's looking for her chafing dish. Seriously, we all do need to calm down a bit. The post was light hearted. The way he phrased things (if I were the CS rep) would have made me laugh because I would have known what he was up to. There's no point in all of us starting to jump at each other's throats. We're all stressed. I have a phone that shuts itself off in the middle of calls, tells me the battery is dead one minute and fully charged the next, and the screen is upside down, backwards, and photo-negative half the time. My upgrade is TODAY. We're all frustrated, we're all techies, that's why we're here.

CHILL OUT.

Kudos to the rep who kept his cool. I wouldn't last a day in that job. I would have been fired for telling the OP what an absolute jerk he is. What is just as bad is posting it here and trying to make the rep out to be the lame one. I'm sure they get customers who swear at them and stuff but that is horrible behavior and I certainly wouldn't be posting it and bragging about bullying some guy who was just doing his job.

Yeah, sorry, I think the OP acted like a jerk. The Sprint reps haven't been given a release date. What do you expect them to do? Let it go. Acting like that just makes them less patient with people who call in with a legitimate concern rather than a fabricated issue.

Can we kill this thread out of respect to people just trying to do their jobs without being tortured by self entitled issue mongers? It's obvious from the single post count he's just hoping for attention.
