Google Maps / Layers resetting

It seems that the majority of the time i load Google Maps my Layers have been reset to default.
I always keep on Traffic and now every time i load Google Maps Traffic magically is not selected.

Checking to see if anybody else is having this or similar issues.
I did a search and i see people complaining about other stuff with Maps and Latitude so not sure if the Traffic issue is on my device or its widespread.

Traffic does work once its selected. But in the past once it was selected it was always on. I never had to check it to enable it.

Also on my other device Epic Touch once GPS had a lock it would re-position my map there.
Now if i am not in the map i have to wait for GPS to lock, then tap the top right corner for it to re-center on me.

Mine appears to be fine.. I had that issue at first, but the last few times it's kept my settings.

Checked it at lunch when i was using latitude to check in. It had traffic.
Back at work and checking it now, traffic has been de-selected.
Wondering if its less of a google maps issue and more of an HTC EVO LTE Sense 4 issue.
