I have under 50 apps installed on my unrooted HTC Evo. I recently deleted all my contacts and started over with them and it helped me for a few days. My question is will rooting my phone somehow free up internal memory on my phone? If not how are people going around claiming they have 120+ apps on the HTC EVO.

Thanks

I can answer that with one simple term..."apps2sd". After rooting and flashing the apps2sd it gives you the ability to partition your SD card to where the system Installs all your apps to the SD card and never have them touch the internal memory. It's kinda like how Android let's move some of the apps info to the SD, except it install everything to the card. Hope that answered your question. :)
