I exchanged my launch day Evo today for a new one (screen separation), wanted to share my experience:
1) haven't done a dump yet but I'm pretty sure I got the Epson screen, to me its just as crisp as the Novatec I had before, blacks seem to be better
2) the rear cover is a little different, as others have reported
3) the phone feels a little lighter and thinner, as a check I asked my wife to pick up the phone and without prompting she had the same initial reaction
4) the notification light seems brighter, especially in change mode
5) the phone itself seems a little snappier, but could be placebo effect
6) there is some slight light leakage below the capacitive buttons, not nearly as bad as my previous phone, but there is no light bleed onto the lower half of the screen, which is what annoyed me about my original phone
7) this is hardware revision 003
Overall I'm extremely happy with the new unit, I only hope that the screen stays this way
