Out of curiosity does anyone know, under internal phone storage is that the total amount you have to play w/ to include what Google,HTC and Sprint have for updates or is that just your space? and the Companies have "other space for them?

I'm aware we may soon see the ability to use SD Cards for our apps or partial apps this is somthen I have just been scratchen my head on. Thanks for any info....

Android 2.2 (Codename Frozen Yogurt = FroYo) is what will allow users to install apps to the SD card to free internal rom memory up (which is the 1GB of ROM that is used for apps/games).

The 512MB of memory, I believe is used solely by the OS for storing its files. Maybe I'm getting both mixed up.

Thanks guys, seems like there is one gig inside and it lets us use around 500mb and they keep the rest. Unless someone has somethen else to share sounds about right.
