Question Issue with SD formatted as internal memory

I own a Xiaomi Poco X3 with 64GB of internal storage and since I was running out of it I decided to format my 128 GB SD card as internal memory (apparently a rookie mistake from what I found out). This led to many issues. I cannot take screenshots, save files from Chrome, or download images and audio messages from WhatsApp. For some reason, I can still take pictures with my camera but I when I try to send them via WhatsApp it says that that media is not in my SD card. Besides my storage settings says I'm using -552366135296,0 B/64 GB and that I have 116,4 GB available. Does anyone have any idea what is going on and how to solve this? I don't know if it's possible to get back to normal by formatting the SD card back as external but so far I haven't managed.
