gmail problems persist

Is anyone else getting the message, login failed? When i try to read my emails, can't log in. I try google captcha, and it works for a while, but then I get the same message. Using the IMAP server, server port 993. Thanks.

what email app are you using? no problems here using the stock Gmail client. why are you fussing around with IMAP and port settings???????????? i bet that's your problem.

stock email app. Didn't touch the settings. Automatically goes to IMAP and port settings.

Does your icon say "Mail" or "Gmail"? That is what Gekko is asking.

I have only seen it ask for IMAP, POP, etc and port numbers in the "Mail" app. He is suggesting use the "Gmail" app if you aren't already.
