Basic sdk commands

Is there a basic command primer or something along those lines here? There are a few commands I can no longer execute from the recovery, namely dalvik wipe and nand backup. As I am not experienced with this, I would like to know how to either repair my recovery so I can perform these on my phone or how to do it from my laptop. I've read around a bit, it's not a charge issue, as the last time I tried my battery was at 100%. Thanks in advance.

Are you getting the 'run nandroid-mobile.sh via...' error? Typically battery charge, incorrect Nandroid file name and not enough storage on the SD will cause that error.

Fresh has a kitchen that I think will execute the wipe dalvik and Nandroid backup. Get it from Geek For Me – Sprint Evo 4g & CDMA Hero and try to wipe and backup from there.
