2.1 RUU and rooted apps

I read somewhere on here that the Sprint leaked Ruu was rooted already. So just to see if they worked I installed setcpu and autokiller. My Hero is now running like a freakin champ, about twice as fast as when new. No mods done at all, just the 2.1 leak and those 2 apps. I'm not having any issues with anything on the phone, everything works as its supposed too. The speed of this thing now is insane. Anyone else try this?

I though setcpu didn't work with 2.1? Also the apps don't work unless you give them permission to gain root access, which requires an app called superuser permissions. Which version of the leak did you install as some have it, and other don't.

i install the RUU leaked. and i have so many apps for rooted phones, and they work great, i never installed super user, jeffsanece how did you set your cpu?/
