How can i get my htc one A9 to connect to a tv

I have the HTC One A9 and on ! website it says my phone does not support MHL so I wanted to know is there a way I can't get my phone to support it because I really want it to connect to the TV.....please help me ....p.s.I don't want to use chrome cast I would rather use a hdmi lead.

Welcome to Android Central! You can't add MHL support if the phone didn't come with it. Sorry! There aren't any other wired adapters besides Slimport (which has essentially disappeared), and the A9 isn't compatible with that either.
