HTC Car dock with Double Dip Case?

Anyone own both and care to share whether they can be used together or not? I want a car dock but don't want to have to take my phone out of its case. I'll probably just get a Clingo dock if this combo doesn't work.

No it does not work with the case.

I am using the HTC dock and the iBolt.
