    Hi,

I am pretty sure I set something like this but it always shows this in the status bar (?) as "2 apps need to be updated", etc. Is there a way for the phone to do this if it's on wifi automatically so I don't have to click it and start the update? I basically don't want to confirm updates manually.

    Thanks

Yes, go to the play store settings and you will find a auto update setting that you can set to your liking.

Keep in mind that you will still need to go and confirm the download manually if the app's permissions have changed.
