Photos Missing and Camera Apps crashing

Hello all. I recently updated my T-Mobile HTC One to 4.3 and all worked fine until I was charging the phone via my laptop. Ever since then, whenever I take a picture, the photo does not show in the gallery. It shows in the random scroll when the phone is locked, so I know it is there. Also, since then, other camera apps like instagram and Camera 360 crash when I attempt to take pictures. Any help you guys can give is appreciated.
