HTC One speaker

I have a HTC one and recently there has been a loud buzzing/static type noise whenever sound is made.
So when turning up volume. When ring tones are playing. All the time.
I have looked this up a bit and it seens that people commonly experience this when on youtube with beats activated, whereas with this phone it happens all the time.
Does anyone have any resolution or should i take it in to get fixed?

That's how mine started. I now have a blown speaker and I'm having my phone replaced

Yeah sorry dude but I had the same and then one day no sound at all. Looked for a fix but none available so had to have it replaced. I'd wait till it actually does go and then get a new unit. You may have to backup your stuff before you hand it in.

I'm apparently going to have to send mine in too since my top speaker is blown. What's the best way to backup your files?

Sounds like a fault. Take it in to where you bought it from and organise a repair.
