So I removed my case off the One m8 to see the rim near the volume buttons got crooked upwards-ish, waving motion like dent.
This phone is barrly a month old, never fell, never got overheated and I never placed it in an oven or something...

What do I do?
(I don't want it to get disassembled and parts replaced, fixing an htc seems like vandalism more the fixing)

That looks like the device did take a fall or got banged against something. Can you press or snap it back into place?

I tryed to press it back into place l, and no it never fell or got hit so far. I suspect the tension made by my case (incipio) caused it.

A little update, a few days after opening this thread, the metal rim around the screen started to warp on various locations, the warranty didn't accept this, saying it was caused by a drop or external force on the phone. It's not made by the case, I removed the case from the phone as I noticed this warp, and gradually the warping started to spread everywhere.
Eventually I took it to repair and replaced the entire back cover.
