Higher RAM usage after Android N update?

Hello all! New here.

So, just a couple days ago I updated my P9 (EVA-L19) with EMUI 5.0, and I just recently noticed that I only had somewhere around 750MB - 800MB of the 3GB of RAM available. On EMUI 4.1, I would usually get a value between 1.3GB and 1.4GB.

I was wondering if this is a common thing with the update, or is it just me? And is there any way to fix it?

"Free memory" us wasted memory unless it gets to the point apps don't have enough

Every new OS uses more. Always has.

Are you having any problems with apps being kicked out of memory more quickly than before the update? Or any other performance issues?
