Think the real deal is here at last. My watch on developer preview has just updated to wear 2.0. Yet to test but I thought I'd share.

Yes, it's released to DP4/5, but there's a trick to updating ALL HW1 watches. Go to system update, when green checkmark appears, tap repeatedly (up to 60 secs+) and it will trigger the download. Make sure you're charged to 100% first to get the update to trigger.

I installed it last night. So far, so good.
Only installation issue I had was it would say to continue installation on phone and it took a long time for that message to go away and the watch was showing a normal screen.
Have to get used to accessing apps a new way, changing watch faces, but overall, a nice upgrade.
Long wait though.

I tried the trick of tapping the green check mark repeatedly but I get a message that Google Services has stopped. My watch is connected to an iPhone, is that a problem? AW app for iPhone was updated a while ago to support AW 2.0

Looks like your Google Play Services needs to be updated. Here's a screenshot from mine. Update has run pretty smoothly for me. Now trying to explore.

I updated the GPServices and after tapping the green check mark repeatedly I get the message that there's an update available but a few seconds into downloading it stops and says the software is up to date

Any of you on ios? I am...

Google Play services is at version 9.4.52 not at 10 like those with watches tethered to Android devices. Last Saturday I paired my watch to an old android phone and GPS updated to version 10 but when I re-paired it to my iPhone 7, it regressed to 9.4.52 again.

If I try to update and repeatedly tap the green check mark, sometimes I get a Google Play services has stopped but most of the times nothing happens.

Anyone of you on iphone got it to work?

UPDATE: I used an old android phone and after countless taps on the green check mark I got it to update and now am pairing it back to my iPhone.

For some reason I can't get the download to finish. It starts like it is going to download then after a minute it says the system is up to date. The one time it finished it never updated.

Got the update notification, but It's telling me I need to charge first... I'm at 79% battery. I'll have to update when I get home in a few hours.

CAN'T WAIT.
