Not sure that you can unless you did the rooted GB version. If it is the straight stock version from Verizon (non-rooted) you may have to wait until someone figures out how to root GB post install.

I am not the expert on these things but this is what I understand....If you loaded the official Verizon version of Gingerbread and not the de-bloated scrubbed and pre-rooted leaked version that was posted on XDA, then I'm afraid you're stuck with it until someone figures out how to root the official.

The problem is the official non-rooted Gingerbread closed up the exploit that was used to root Froyo. You can not do the PBIMG-thing because you need to have root access to take advantage of that method.

That is the latest OTA GB Stock build.

I don't know if the Froyo OTA will let you downgrade or not. I have not tried it, and I have not seen any reports of it working either.

If you wan to try it a signed Froyo OTA is available here,

But again I have to caution you that I do not know if this will work. You could end up bricking your phone.

If you try it and it works, please let us know.

If your unsure about it being rooted or not, look in your app drawer for the "Superuser" app. OR, download and try to run Titanium Backup. It requires root access to work. If it works and makes a backup, you have a rooted version of GB. If it tells you otherwise, your not rooted and will have to either take some drastic measures, or wait for someone smarter than myself to figure out how to root it.
