I really need help.

I tried going to a backup rom and now its STUCK on Samsung start up screen. I don't know how to get it to do anything else. Please, someone help.

I got it to go to the yellow triangle screen and it says below it "Downloading... Do not turn off target!!!" It is plugged into the usb and Odin says 1 (COM 13). I know this is progress, I don't know where to go from here.

Okay so you are in Download Mode which is used for Odin. Odin is recognizing your device which is awesome.

You need to locate the Odin tar files to restore to factory stock for the Infuse and flash and you should be out of trouble and on your way.

I downloaded the latest stock rom. Put the .tar in the PDA and it tells me "invalid image type".
