keyboard problem

I downloaded a different keyboard app but now I want my original keyboard back.
I tried everything I read online but nothing works.
I tried the language input on settings but I can't check the Samsung keyboard since it's already checked and it's dark.
I also tried pressing the microphone on texts but the original keyboard doesn't come back and the 123 icon doesn't work either.
I switched my phone off and on and even removed the battery.
I also deleted the app but I seem to be stuck with this keyboard with huge letters.
Can somebody please help or should I go to a phone shop and have it fixed since nothing seems to work?

Re: keyboard problem

Welcome to Android Central! When your current keyboard is showing, do you see a keyboard icon in the notification bar? If so, swipe down and tap that notification--it should give you the option to switch keyboards.

If you don't see that option, are you sure you didn't Disable the Samsung Keyboard? Go to the App Manager, find Samsung Keyboard, and see if it's Disabled.
