How can I manage/control the automatic backup?

Hey guys,
I'm currently using a Nexus 5 and I should get another Android device from my work.
I want to use the automatic&native Google's backup and restore system.
When I log in with my Google account to my new phone, which apps will be automatically installed?
How can I control it? because over the time I installed and uninstalled dozens of apps on my Nexus 5, I don't want all of those to be restored to my new phone.

Any way to manage this backup system?
Thanks,
Tom

Fortunately and unfortunately, when you log onto a new device, Google will just ask if you want to automatically install your apps or not. If you select YES, all compatible apps that you currently have installed on your phone will start downloading and installing automatically (you might want to make sure you're in WiFi coverage before you start hehe). If you select NO, then you can go about installing everything yourself from the Play Store.

If you log onto the Play Store via PC, you can also browse through a list of all the apps you've installed in the past, and you can always prompt the installation on any of your devices via PC as well.

No problemo ;) I actually forgot to state the point on my last post haha... The point being 'you can't select individual apps to auto-install, it's just an all or nothing kinda deal'.
