One of us (I don't use it myself) has started having problems with the stock email app after upgrading to Lollipop on our Droid Turbos. Can anyone help?
(1) The text of incoming email often doesn't display now; the only way to see it is hit Reply (even if you don't want to) and look at the bottom, where it does appear quoted.
(2) The app seems unable to empty its trash can.
(3) The icon badge count is up to something like "535", and never gets reset. (Is this the result of deleting some emails before reading them? And it may have been doing this before Lollipop too.)
Notes: We did clear cache after installing Lollipop. App version shows as "MOTOEMAIL 00.00.02.0035". I'm aware that Email is said to be redundant now and Gmail handles it all instead, but we're not seeing that, possibly because we haven't updated Gmail (and may not want to).
